We are located in the GE Main Plant in downtown Schenectady, NY at the west
end of Erie Boulevard. Use GPS longitude and latitude coordinates below,
not the street address, in your GPS.
For cell phone GPS, use 1 Old River Rd, Schenectady.
For Google Maps, use GE Power Visitor Checkin, 1 River Rd, Schenectady.

• On Westbound I-890
  • Coming westbound on I-890, take Exit 4B.
  • Follow the sign to the GE Plant.
  • After the U-turn under I-890, make a turn into the Plant entrance when you see the GE sign.
  • Just before the Guard Houses in the middle of the road, take a left turn into the Building 33 Visitor’s Reception parking lot.
  • Park and walk into the Visitor Reception Center.

• On Eastbound I-890
  • Coming eastbound on I-890, take Exit 4A.
  • Follow the sign to the GE Plant.
  • Make a right turn into the Plant entrance when you see the GE sign.
  • Just before the Guard Houses in the middle of the road, take a left turn into the Building 33 Visitor’s Reception parking lot.
  • Park and walk into the Visitor Reception Center.
